EastEnders‘ resident scammer and schemer Bea Pollard finds herself “in hot water” in advanced spoilers shared by the BBC — will the newcomer’s secrets finally come back to bite her?

The character played by Ronni Ancona has been causing a bit of trouble on the square. After taking advantage of Honey and Billy Mitchell’s hospitality and taking out a credit card in Honey’s name, she now has her sights on becoming Walford’s First Lady.

Bea has been dating Ian Beale, who’s in the running for councillor against Elaine Peacock. To strengthen his chances to win the election, Bea suggests a smear campaign against Elaine, which Ian initially shuts down but reconsiders after Oscar Branning helps Elaine humiliate him.

Advanced spoilers for the week commencing on 11 May teases that Bea ends up in a tricky spot, could it be linked to her smear campaign? As the week progresses, Bea panics about what she’s done and quickly realises she doesn’t have many options left. Does it mean she’ll finally face the music?

Also out of options is Nicola Mitchell, who faces questions from her and George’s families. Elsewhere, Mark Fowler’s relationship with his dad Grant Mitchell is “more strained than ever,” as Phil’s brother makes things worse.
