Two huge Home and Away fan favourites to unite in explosive Brax return plot
Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away’s Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton is set to receive a blast from the past when he’s reunited with Tane Parata. In upcoming scenes, desperate Tane flees to Western Australia to beg Brax for help following his shocking arrest.
Last week’s episodes saw Tane arrested and charged with the possession and supplying of drugs after being framed by Harper Matheson’s mum Kerrie. The vindicative newcomer hid a bag of white powder in baby Archie’s cot, as she was annoyed that Tane didn’t want her to be in his son’s life.
In tonight’s episode, Tane is granted bail after proving he isn’t a flight risk — though he has to wear an ankle monitor. But with Kerrie pulling a disappearing act, a new trailer shows Tane taking matters into his own hands to avoid going to prison.
The dramatic trailer, posted on the soap’s Instagram page, opens with beautiful landscape shots of Western Australian, where Brax and Erica ‘Ricky’ Sharpe have been living since 2016.

After bidding farewell to Summer Bay, the pair have built a peaceful life in the outback with their son Casey.
However, the on-screen text reveals that “their perfect escape is about to end”, before Tane arrives on the scene claiming his innocence and asking Brax for help.

At first, Ricky and Brax are both reluctant to get involved in the drama, with Ricky fearing Tane will bring trouble to their door. Brax firmly tells him he isn’t going to put his family “at risk”.
But as he tries to drive away, desperate Tane plants himself in front of the car, shouting: “I walked away from my son for this!”
It seems the former leader of the River Boys takes pity on the new father and he brings Tane back to his idyllic home to devise a plan. But is Tane looking for a way to clear his name or could he be plotting his own escape to Western Australia?
Home and Away drops new episodes on weekdays at 6am on 5’s streaming service with a 6.30pm screening on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
