Toya Turner did not return as Kiana Cook for season 13 of the series.

If you don’t know, the 35-year-old actress joined the show in season 12.

Deadline confirmed the news, but did not elaborate on a reason why she’s leaving.

“I’m grateful for the time I had bringing Kiana to life. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me so warmly,” she shared in a statement.

Marlyne Barrett – Stepping Away From Chicago Med

Marlyne Barrett, who portrays ER nurse Maggie Lockwood on Med, will be “stepping back” for the first time since the show’s premiere in 2015.

Apparently, this is for “personal reasons,” per Deadline, and it is “envisioned as a temporary leave, and the hope is for her to return at some point.”
